On the Mend

Sorry for the recent "outage" here at the ol' blog. I was bit by the depression bug, but now I'm fine.

Does anyone else suffer from depression? I mean the kind you take medication for? I could really use some people to talk to...

OK, that's it for now! On to finishing some neglected projects! :O)

Don't worry.......be happy...... :)

I'm too ambivilent about everything to be depressed most of the time (though getting slightly bitter about work...grr.) Anyway, I'm here if you ever need to talk to someone. Even if you have to call me when I'm working. I might not say much (being in a cube farm and all), but I'll still listen.

Love you!

I’ m on medication for Severe Anxiety attacks, to the delight of all my friends and family. I have been suffering with this most of my life, but during Hurricane Ike I went into overload. If it wasn’t for the doctor prescribing this to me I would have been home bound. I started on them in October and my life is a lot calmer. I do get bouts of depression which happen for about a week every 3 to 4 months, but since I started the meds the bouts are not a bad as before. When my doctor put me on the anti-depressants he also put me on thyroid medication which he thought could also be part of my problem with the depression bouts and anxiety. I am known to get compulsive and not focused on a number of occasions but the meds help a lot, though I still get a moment of anxiety and depression they are short and controllable.
Better living through chemistry. If you need someone to chat to let me know.

I'm on medication but it feels like it's not working as well as it once was. I think I need a new kind, the meds I'm on were mostly for my anxiety attacks, after I went off them while pregnant I didn't have one anxiety attack, but still went onto the same meds when my PPD hit again. I think I should have gone a different med route this time. you can email me anytime if you'd like! I'd like to have someone to talk to too :)

I don't take meds, but I do get depressed. Hang up your new quilt. Hopefully your birdies can make you a wee bit happier walking by them.
