I whipped these up last weekend for some friends' housewarming party. They said autumn colors, and these were the most "autumn-y" in my stash. I love how they turned out!
The tea towel was bought from Target, then I made a patchwork strip of cotton fabrics and appliqued it to the front.
The pot holders are 8 inches square, and have four layers of batting between the two patchwork layers. I included a ribbon for hanging.
I love bringing hand-made gifts for people--the reaction is great! Plus, I didn't have to buy anything I didn't already have, which is always a plus!
We put an offer in on a house tonight--wish us luck!
