Hello!

I have lived in Seattle and Boston, studied in Guadalajara, and travelled all over the US. I have a degree in art, speak a bit of Spanish, and have been a waitress, receptionist, assistant, book keeper, tutor, and nanny. Now I'm a picture-taking, sewing, painting, drawing, knitting, quilting, card-making, thrift store shopping, stay at home mama who happens to also be a Labor and Birth Doula (pregnant? Happy Birthday!

My husband turned thirty recently, so we celebrated with a bunch of friends and lemon cake! (I modified a basic yellow cake recipe and used lemon juice instead of milk in the frosting. The inside was a layer of lemon curd. YUM!)
