Recent Retail Therapy

This past month or so has been really, really rough.  I can't go into a whole lot of details because of other people's privacy, but there has been some crap diagnoses, surgeries, ICU stays, and my own issues revolving around my upcoming surgery.  Everyone is still around, thank goodness, but it has just been unpleasant.

So I bought stuff.  Specifically of the fibrous kind.  The Shibori Dragon, a beautiful yarn/fabric store near me, is closing.  I took advantage and saved 30% off some awesome Malabrigo for the boys' winter hats, and some pretty neutral thread.  I follow Terri Harlan, of Sew Fantastic on Instagram, and was able to snag a scrap pack, filled with awesome scraps.

I'm glad you went to Shibori! And the scrap bag looks great! I wish we were closer so we could sew together and make messes of our sewing areas. LOL Hopefully you are feeling better too! :)

Yes! I wish you lived closer too! Move back to WA so we can sew.

Seriously--I love all the fabrics Teri picked out. They're just great!!! And my yarn is beautiful--I'm just sad that SD is closing!
