Just a Quick Post

I'll be in and out the rest of the week. My 2 year-old niece has been diagnosed with leukemia. Her particular type has a 90% survival rate, and she has 2.5 years of treatment ahead of her. I spent the evening in Seattle visiting with her, and am really, really tired tonight.

I was so happy to see my son when I got home, and we talked for a bit on his bed before I (re) tucked him in. I love his little face, and his voice, and am thankful for his health. Hug your kids, OK? :O)

oh, my I can so relate to your touching posting. Our nephew had Burkett's Syndrome when he was in kindy.
Today, he's 21, and looks like a twin of Prince William, I kid ya not. He's gorgeous & studying away at college.

just be a help & support to your niece & her parents, they'll need it, and if there are any other siblings, don't forget them.

we made up a huge basket of gifts to open/one per day while in treatment...it is so easy to do with dollar stores/michaels/Japanese dollar store in Seattle, etc.
