I was accepted to several art schools for the graphics design program.  I entered the University of Washington thinking I would leave and go to work for corporations, designing logos.  Alas, I quickly decided I couldn't handle the cutthroat competition, and switched to the more forgiving interdisciplinary visual arts program.  I don't design logos, but I still love to make simple line drawings using words and names.
